This chapter’s goal is to extract lessons from the empirical analysis of linkages across the broad spectrum of trade arrangements ranging from the WTO to bilateral FTAs. In doing so, we hope to shed light on how our initial theoretical and conceptual perspective on the driving forces of trade linkages and their impact fares in light of this analysis.
