Jaeyeon Bae is a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar at UC Berkeley in her second year pursuing a B.A. in Economics. She is excited to work as a research assistant for The Berkeley Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Study Center (BASC) and conduct research for the center’s various research products such as policy briefs, academic articles, and book publications. She looks forward to researching policies in areas including investment, trade, and finance, and investigating political economic trends, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. She ultimately aspires to become a researcher one day. Outside of academics, she enjoys listening to different genres of music and going out for a walk.
