The Berkeley APEC Study Center at the University of California, Berkeley, conducts multidisciplinary research activities that analyze political, economic, and business trends in the Asia-Pacific, especially related to APEC -- the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. Our primary mission is to produce and disseminate useful knowledge to decision makers in both the public and private spheres to facilitate the creation of mutually beneficial cooperation in the business, academic, and policymaking communities. To this end, the center brings together scholars from various departments, institutes, and centers from around the world to foster collaborative research on APEC related issues.
